a new hobby?

So I am thinking about turning my 93 civic into a http://http://www.scca.org/ car,I am looking at more of a 3 year plan to do so.
since BF2http://http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/home.jsp
will hopefully be out in late june I really dont know how much Time and money I would have to spare BF2 may justify a PC upgrade due to the fact we may be competing in the CAL or TWL.however I do have a brother who is into Cars (hondas) and could help me get going .Is this a pipe dream?? only time will tell.
