Blizzard to announce

Blizzard entertainment is all set to announce a new game by weeks end perhaps. Most of the gaming sites Gametag,Bluesnews and others agree Blizz is up to something.

This Blizzard Entertainment Employment Opportunities Page indicates that Blizzard is seeking an engine programmer to lead a team "focused on next-generation massively multiplayer online games." GameDaily BIZ contacted Blizzard about this, but the developer is remaining tight lipped for now, saying they are "not ready to reveal any new projects at this time," but that they do indeed "have multiple unannounced projects in development and are exploring various options for the future of our franchises.

Starcraft 2... woot! Especially if they follow with some of the new and inventive multiplayer options that World in Conflict is bringing to the RTS world.

Starcraft Universe? Sigh. Just what I need, something with the addictiveness of WoW, the geekiness of Star Wars Galaxies, and the frustrations of Eve Online... no thank you... dang it, I'll probably wind up at least playing a beta trial!
