Antoher great Toadies show!

I am bit upset that they did not play "nothing to cry about" and " Flower" but I guess I'll just have to go see them again.

On a side note 2 other bands played as well "People in Planes" caught my ear.

Stone Temple Pilots!

STP preformed in Bixby at the Spirt Bank event center tonight, and I got to go :P! I love STP however I was under the impression that they were more of a studio band, boy was I wrong. They were Freaking awesome live. The set list was insane.

-Wicked Garden
-Dead and bloated
-Interstate love song
-Plush
-Sex type thing
-Lady picture show
-Tripping on a hole in a paper heart
-Crackerman
-Vasoline
-Lounge Fly
-Big empty
-Down
-Sour girl
I am sure I missed a few as well they played for almost 2 hours.
And since it was Scott's birthday we got to sing happy birtday to him.Yes Folks I have sung to STP!I was really pissed that I did'nt take my camera seems like EVERYONE eles had there even tho you were not spose to bring em.STP really has it together right now I can't wait for the new album. Not only did they sound great but they light show was cool and exciting.

The Toadies Rocked!

After checking out some video's on youtube I was unsure of how good the Toadies were going to be live. They were awesome. The only song off "Rubber Neck" they didn't play was velvet.Plus they played 4-5 songs from their new album that comes out August 19th.

The opening acts were local 1st up was "The Effects" They were pretty good really big sound but IMO had some mixing issues.

2nd up was "The Wiggs" Great sound from a 3 piece band,They had some feed back issues during a song or two but I liked their sound and song writing better than the 1st act. Both of these Local bands were good I would see them again if I got the chance.

One last thing it was odd seeing the new BOK arena just a mile from the Cains ballroom, If you live in Tulsa and have the chance to see a group you like at the Cain's do so.It's such a different kind of show than a arena show.
